Students demanding more property
More and more applications are being submitted to UCAS for secondary education as more and more people look to go back into education during these times of crisis.
The weakening employment market has pushed many of us back into education which is great news for buy-to-let landlords as the demand for student lets is increasing. The managing director of Paragon Mortgages, John Heron, said: 'If individuals have been made redundant or are struggling to get a job they may see higher education as an attractive option.”
A recent survey has shown those landlords with student lets has an average of a 1 higher income than those without.
