Student property has a high demand
Demand in Scotland for student property is at an all time high, which is proving to be somewhat profitable for landlords. This increase for let property for students has seen the rents stabilise in this part of the country, allowing both landlords and students to find profit and stability in a time where neither are easy to obtain.
The first half of 2009 saw letting prices in Scotland plummet as well as landlords seeing a bigger time gap form between finding a tenant.
The demand for student property seems to have seen an increase over that past year as more people look to further their education. Hoping that by the time they have graduated the commotion the recession has caused in the UK would have settled opening up more jobs, rather than waiting for any job that opens up and relying on doll money to survive.
