Reminder to landlords of gas registration changes
The change will be nationwide and the Gas Safe Register changes will be held in a conference at Rochdale Football Club on March 26th.
Councillor Doreen Brophy-Lee is the cabinet member for housing at the local authority, told Rochdale Online, she stated that these occasions show how the council 'attempts to work with the private sector landlords to ensure the health and safety of local tenants is upheld at all times'.
This scheme aims to raise public awareness of gas safety and the gas register, manage inspection and enforcement, and provide technical support to engineers.
