North Lincolnshire tenants questioned over landlords
Tenants in North Lincolnshire will be surveyed over their satisfaction of the worked carried out by their landlords following a £125 million housing improvement project on North Lincolnshire Homes.
The survey has been implemented after many tenants in Scunthorpe's social housing had complained about the work that was being done to improve the homes that they were living in. Following many requests to landlords they found that things were never getting done. In one incident an elderly couple waiting 10 days before their faulty shower was fixed.
The investigation is being carried out by Active Community Team, who has received the complaints from tenants who are appalled with the lack of help they have received from their landlords. The chairman of ACT will be presenting the findings to the council as well as North Lincolnshire Homes. Complaints are taken very seriously and will be dealt with accordingly following the findings.
