London and South East beware of paying unfair renewal fees
The National Landlords Association (NLA) have warned landlords in London and the South East that they should shop around for letting agents to avoid paying unfair charges.
According to the NLA landlords face renewal fees of around 11. It seems that the renewal fees are not a true reflection in the work that is undertaken for the renewal and sometimes the fees are charge for no work at all.
Landlords are being urged to end business with these letting agents and shop around for others that will not charge these money for nothing fees.
Its seems that the rogue letting agents charging these fees are unique to these areas as across the rest of the country this not happening.
