Let property market improving
Rental expert Nigel Lewis from FindaProperty has announced that landlords will now start to see a light at the end of the recession tunnel. Mr Lewis has stated that as the housing market begins to stabilise and the number of buyers are increasing the number of accidental landlords will start to leave the buy-to-let sector. This has caused a slight rise in the average rental amount, so far it has not been anything substantial as figures are still far from their 2007 figures.
Mr Lewis said: "Strong demand should ensure that returns for serious landlords continue to improve over the course of the year."
Figures released by FindaProperty show an increase of 0.7% in March making this the second consecutive rise since the start of the recession, and increasing the monthly rental amount by £16 to £820.
