Landlords failing to claim tax back
Landlords across the United Kingdom are failing to claim back their energy efficient tax allowances.
Landlords were encouraged to install energy saving items in their properties to help cut the cost on energy bills in their let properties, this way they will be saving the environment and helping out tenants during the hard times.
It is believed that there are many landlords that are failing to claim their tax back. Landlords can claim up to £1500 a year for a dwelling house. In order for landlords to claim they can’t be claiming any other benefits I.E rent a room scheme.
