Landlords see high returns

New figure released have shown that landlords have received a 2.4% return in their property investments already this year. Not only have they revived a higher return than those that have invested their money in banks but the figures suggest that they can only expect these returns to increase over time. The figure is mainly gained from those landlords that have invested in property since 2008, after combining the reduced price of housing with the high demand for let property.

The 2.4% increase sees the highest return in profit since the beginning of the recession in mid 2007. The past 12 months have seen an unsteady road for landlords, after facing an 11% decrease in return during February this year, the buy-to-let sectors lowest point. As the saying goes 'The night is darkest just before the dawn' and recently landlords have seen the light of day as their returns have started to rise.
