Landlords given free advice in Loughborough
Landlords in Loughborough are being invited to attend a free advice exhibit in the town providing information on private sector lettings and property management.
The event will be hosted by Charnwood Borough Council on October 26, by their team in private sector housing giving free advice on how landlords can become successful in the letting of their properties. Information will also be provided on the East Midlands Landlord Accreditation Scheme (EMLAS), informing landlords on how they can become part of it and how to sign up; they will also be giving information on the tenant finder service provided by the council.
The tenant finder service has been very successful in the area and free to all landlords who would like to take advantage of it. It was launched in April 2008 and found homes for over 60 families; however the council are in need of more housing in the area which is anther reasoning behind the advise surgery.
