Gas safety checks are refused by landlord
A landlord who failed to carry out a gas safety check on his let property has appeared at court, pleading not guilty.
The Blackpool property that the former solicitor rents out is fitted with a gas boiler that has never been checked by a CORGI registered gas inspector, which could have lead to hazardous consequences.
Blackpool magistrates are waiting to fix a new trial date following the case being adjourned until 5th August.
