Funding that is designed to reduce the risks of buy to let
The new scheme will allow investors to put their money into the housing market as it slowly rises from the recent drop that it has been affected by, plus this investment comes without the risk of having to buy their own buy-to-let property.
An investment firm based in Edinburgh, Cornelian Asset Managers has teamed up with the property company Grant management to create this fund, which they believe to be the only one of its king in the UK.
The new scheme will work by only buying traditional properties with an average price of £175,000. It will focus on central areas across the UK, except London and the south of England. There will be no more than a 25 per cent investment in any one town or city to ensure it is diversified. The student letting market will be a target because of the steady demand it provides.
