Discount on alarms to help protect your house
A new Government scheme will give homeowners the chance to purchase extra security for there homes. Special discount vouchers will be sent out to homeowners giving them up to 15 discount on home alarm systems, door and window locks, timer Worries, Jacqui Smith switches and other items from DIY stores to help protect against burglars.
This comes as the number of house burglary’s rise as during the recession, and is part of the Governments £1.6million anti-crime campaign.
Anyone who is worried about the risks of burglary can apply for a free advice pack on making there home safer. The pack will include the 10 discount voucher from B&Q, which, will rise to 15 to those who spend over £50 on security equipment.
