Conference programme announced for forth coming NLA event
The National Landlords Association (NLA) has announced the programme for its first ever national conference to be held on the 29th November 2008.
The conference, to be held at Jurys Inn Birmingham, is entitled ‘Operating in Today’s Market: Future Prospects for Landlords’ and will be open to members and non-members alike.
It is hoped that the conference will allow landlords to discuss the issues that are currently affecting the lettings.
Some of the speakers to attend will be Iain Wright MP, the parliamentary under secretary at the communities and Local Government dept, Dr Julie Rugg, Centre for Housing Policy, Andrew Heywood, Deputy head of policy at the Council of Mortgage Lenders and Professor Tony Crook of the University of Sheffield.
The conference will also include an exhibition, the chance for networking with other landlords and workshops on repossessions, local housing allowances and sale and rent back.
