Channel 4 presenters advise on best buy-to- let areas
Phil Spencer and Kirstie Allsopp, presenters of Channel 4 hit property programme ‘Location, Location, Location’ have been releasing much coveted buy-to-let advice.
According to the experts, London unsurprisingly reached the top of the list as the place to buy property to let offering steady turn over and potential lucrative profits. In particular the three boroughs of City of London, Westminster and Camden offer the best investment areas.
Camden offers a steady stream of tenants wishing to experience the alternative culture of Camden market and the surrounding residential areas; tenancies in Westminster and City of London are highly sort after due to their close location to the business hub of the capital and the ‘on the doorstep’ position to the Houses of Parliament.
Southwark and the Elephant and Castle in South London are also advisable locations for business ventures into property lettings, being located close to the Northern Line of London’s Underground network and popular landmarks London Bridge and Clapham. Predictably, this area is likely to be a hot ticket in the future being the least expensive area in London at present.
Spencer and Allsopp advised that investors are likely to reap the financial awards of their recent endeavours over a ten year period.
